Graduation ceremonies announced for CVUSD

The Coachella Valley Unified School District wants to congratulate its graduating class of 2015. There are several ceremonies taking place this week to celebrate the student’s accomplishments before they move on to the next stage of their lives.

Superintendent Darryl Adams said, “We are so proud of all of our graduates who will be leaving us to a brighter future. The Board of Trustees and I wish them and their families much success as we continue to prepare all students for college, career and citizenship.”

CVUSD officials released a list of graduation ceremonies which will be taking place throughout the week. They also listed the valedictorian and salutatorian from each school.

Coachella Valley High School:

Graduation: Monday, June 8 at 7 p.m.

Indian Wells Tennis Garden – 78200 Miles Avenue, Indian Wells

Valedictorian: Diana Ramirez Hernandez

Salutatorian: Itcelia Segoviano

West Shores High School:

Graduation: Wednesday, June 10 at 7 p.m.

West Shores High School, 2381 Shore Hawk Avenue, Salton City

Valedictorian: Jennifer Gopar

Salutatorian: Pedro Lopez-Casillas

Desert Mirage High School:

Graduation: Thursday, June 11 at 7 p.m.
