Sheriff’s job fair seeks to fill jail positions
Recent high school graduates are invited to a job fair aimed at filling a variety of positions at the sheriff’s new East Valley Detention Center in Indio, department officials announced Monday.
The job fair is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Riverside County Workforce Development Center, 44-199 Monroe Street in Indio.
Open positions include Correctional Deputy I, 911 Communications Officer I, Sheriff’s Service Officer II, Correctional Senior Food Service Worker, Correctional Cook, Laundry Worker, Accounting Assistant and Office Assistant.
