Cathedral City woman arrested in connection with stolen vehicle

A Cathedral City woman was arrested in connection with a stolen vehicle Friday.

Palm Springs police arrested 24-year-old Brittany Lora after officers received reports around 9:50 p.m. of a stolen vehicle parked at a gas station in the 3600 block of E. Ramon Road.

The vehicle was first reported missing Aug. 6 to Cathedral City police by the owner.

The vehicle drove away from the gas station Friday night and the owner provided authorities with the updated information. Officers located the stolen vehicle near the intersection of Ramon and El Cielo Road, that’s when police pulled over Lora and arrested her without incident.

Lora faces charges of vehicle theft. She has one felony warrant for forgery and four misdemeanor warrants for various charges.
