Man arrested for crashing into home in Coachella
A man who reportedly crashed into a home in Coachella was under the influence says Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The accident happened just before 5:00 a.m. Sunday. The suspect 34-year old Rolando Galvan was driving a 2000, Jeep Cherokee, and traveling southbound on Shady Lane when he collided with the front of a residence at the intersection of Shady Lane and Valley Road. Galvan and the occupants inside the home were not injured.
Galvan was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Galvan was transported to a local area hospital as a precaution, prior to being booked at the Riverside County jail in Indio.
