3 men & 2 women arrested in domestic violence sweep

Three men and two women were arrested in Beaumont on Wednesday in the ‘DV Warrant Sweep’, the 12th annual National Family Violence Apprehension Detail.

The sweep is an all-day event, in which agencies across the U.S. attempt to serve outstanding family-violence warrants.

The Beaumont Police Department served thirteen domestic violence arrest warrants, which resulted in five arrests, according to a release. The five suspects were arrested on various domestic violence charges, including restraining order violations.

All five were booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning.

Officers arrested:

Christina Bates, 38, Beaumont
Adelina Rodriguez, 43, Beaumont
Frank Ramirez, 46, Beaumont
Paul Duncan, 28, Beaumont
Richard Gardner, 34, Beaumont

Officials with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said there were three people arrested Wednesday on domestic violence charges in the Coachella Valley as well.

Authorities said the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office Domestic Violence Enhanced Response Team (DVERT), in Washington State, founded the sweep 12 years ago.
