Narcotics related search warrant in La Quinta leads to two arrests

The Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force (CVVCGTF) served a narcotics related search warrant in the 78-800 block of Parkbrook Court in La Quinta Thursday morning around 7:00 a.m.

The search warrant resulted in the confiscation of suspected methamphetamine, two rifles, over a thousand rounds of ammunition, three high capacity magazines, and other evidence consistent with narcotic’s sales.

Cesar Aceves, a 27-year-old from La Quinta, was arrested for possession of narcotics for sales, possession of methamphetamine, and for being a felon in possession of ammunition. Thomas Aune, a 40-year-old from La Quinta, was arrested for possession of a loaded firearm while in possession of methamphetamine, and possession of high capacity magazines.

Both suspects were booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio.
