Trees down in La Quinta

Strong winds are hitting the Coachella Valley associated with an early winter storm system.

There are reports of trees down along Washington Street between Calle Tampico and Highway 111 in La Quinta.

Imperial Irrigation reported scattered power outages in Indio.

There was a larger outage earlier along Washington Street in the area of Bermuda Dunes and La Quinta.

All power was restored by 11:00 p.m. Monday night.
