Tour bus causes traffic congestion on Hwy 60 west

Cal Fire responded after a tour bus was reportedly on fire on Highway 60 west, just east of Western Knolls Avenue Tuesday morning.

Fire officials said it appears the bus wasn’t on fire but there was heavy smoke coming from the vehicle. Emergency crews are on scene and it’s causing some traffic congestion near Beaumont.

One lane has been closed while crews investigate.

If you’re driving in the area, you may have to deal with some delays for the time being.

News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 is arriving to the scene and we’ll have more information as soon as it’s available.
