Valley restaurant, church give away new bicycles for Christmas in Palm Springs
Christmas came early for some children in the Coachella Valley Sunday.
In Palm Springs, New York Pizza Delivery, or NYPD, teamed up with Sword of the Lord Ministries Community Church to give away 100 new bicycles to families in need.
People lined the sidewalk of Palm Canyon Drive outside of NYPD as children enjoyed a special visit from Santa and picked out a bicycle of their choice. They also got a new helmet and supplies went fast.
Santa Claus also helped raffle off new bicycles at a home in Indio where families enjoyed holiday treats, Christmas lights and new toys.
