Hollywood’s biggest stars shine bright in Palm Springs

Palm Springs is ready! For the 27th year, Hollywood’s spotlight shines bright as some of the World’s biggest stars walk the red carpet of this year’s Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala.

Together with presenting sponsor Bighorn, and major sponsors Mercedes-Benz and Entertainment Tonight, emcee Mary Hart will welcome A-list entertainers, directors and Hollywood players, along with local community leaders, to the elegant dinner and awards show, which raises more than $1 million in funding for the Palm Springs International Film Society.

The Palm Springs International Film Festival honorees will receive a Silvered Piccolo Venetian with Carmine Gold Leaves created by Dale Chihuly.

Red Carpet arrivals began around 4:30 p.m. Fans were treated to the glitz and glamour as stars like Johnny Depp, Cate Blanchett, Bryan Cranston and Matt Damon and many more stopped to sign autographs and take pictures.
