Police arrest Desert Hot Springs man who allegedly kidnapped his ex-girlfriend

Desert Hot Springs Police have arrested a man who allegedly kidnapped his ex-girlfriend and held her against her will at his home for several days.

According to Sgt. Gus Paiz, on Tuesday just after 12:30 p.m. officers responded to Desert Regional Medical Center to investigate claims by a woman saying she was a kidnap victim. Officers spoke with the victim who said, her ex-boyfriend Marshall Jones, kidnapped her and held her against her will at his home for several days.

Officers responded to Jones’ home located on the 9700 Block of San Rafael, where he was arrested. He is currently at the Riverside County Jail in Banning awaiting arraignment.
