P.S.U.S.D Superintendent will retire

Palm Springs Unified School District Superintendent, Dr. Christine Anderson, will retire after the end of the school year on June 30, 2016.

Anderson has served as Superintendent since 2011.

She first joined the district in 2007 as Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services.

“Serving in the Palm Springs Unified School District has, without a doubt, been the highlight of a 40-year career in education,” said Anderson.

The Board of Education will choose a search firm at its next meeting to find a successor for Anderson.
