One man in the hospital after big rig crash
One man is in the hospital after a big-rig crash on westbound Interstate 10 near Chiriaco Summit. California Highway Patrol says a big rig jackknifed with a car- just after 10:00 last night, just east of Summit Road.
The driver of the semi was out of his truck and got hit by a car. Two lanes were partially closed while traffic was diverted to the shoulder to pass the accident. About an hour after the crash, the truck driver who was hit was taken to a hospital with major injuries.
His condition is unknown this morning…
No word on if those lanes are back open.
