Damning testimony from accused sex offender’s son

New details tonight on the trial of a former special education instructor accused of child molestation and running a child porn ring. Thursday, the adopted son of John David Yoder testified that he witnessed Yoder kiss a 12 year old boy, who lived with them, on the lips.

19-year old Cody Yoder also said the adolescent boy, who was in Yoder’s guardianship, slept in his adoptive fathers room behind a door secured by a deadbolt lock.

Under questioning by the prosecution, Cody Yoder told the court he never was molested in the decade he lived with his adopted father, but he occasionally witnessed interactions involving several boys that he said seemed kind of off.

Yoder faces 12 felony charges, including lewd acts with a child, human trafficking of a child and conspiracy to commit a felony. Testimony is set to resume on monday.
