Clinton Foundation Health Matters Conference wraps in Indian Wells

The 4th annual Clinton Foundation Health Matters conference in Indian Wells ended Monday evening with an announcement about a new drug being made available in schools to reverse heroin overdose.

President Clinton visited the Coachella Valley Sunday and Monday for the closing round of the CareerBuilder Challenge and the health summit.

Chelsea Clinton, among other speakers, was unable to attend the event due to Winter Storm Jonas, which struck the East Coast.

The two-day summit kicked off Sunday at La Quinta High School, where volunteers built a community garden for the campus and prepared 150 meals to be donated to the Joslyn Center’s Meals on Wheels Program.
