Overnight power outages leave many without lights, heat
All power should be back up Wednesday morning for east valley residents served by the Imperial Irrigation District.
The utility said all service was restored for 889 Coachella customers and 669 La Quinta customers who saw their lights go off late Tuesday night.
The Coachella outage impacted customers at the Cesar Chavez Villas Apartment complex.
The La Quinta outage was between Avenue 50 and Avenue 52.
The outages lasted an hour or two.
There was no word on what caused them.
IID said customers can check their circuit breaker box before calling 1-800-303-7756 if they’re still without power Wednesday morning.
