Annual hot air balloon festival starts Friday
Hot air balloons will fill the skies over the Coachella Valley this weekend. The second annual Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival, presented by Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa, will begin Friday with a 6 a.m. Hot Air Balloon Breakfast & Race at Big League Dreams Sports Park, 33700 Date Palm Drive. Attendees can enjoy breakfast while watching the inflation of the balloons on three ball fields.
