Project to restore Salton Sea underway, watch tonight at 6PM

It’s no secret. The Salton Sea is in trouble as it slowly evaporates and its water sources are diverted. But a project to restore the Red Hill Bay Marina is underway.

Is it going anywhere?

We’re now three months into an environmental restoration project at the southern end of the Salton Sea. What will it accomplish and how’s the work going?

We find out in Jeff Stahl’s special report airing Thursday at 6 p.m. on KESQ News Channel 3.
