7 out of home after Indio fire

Officials with Cal Fire said seven people were displaced from their home after a fire sparked in Indio Tuesday night. The fire sparked at 83100 Caribe Avenue at 10:55 p.m.

According to the release, the fire was quickly contained after firefighters arrived, but the damage was significant enough to call in the American Red Cross to help the four adults and three minors who are now without a home.

Nobody was injured in the fire. Fire officials said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
