Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after Highway 74 crash
A motorcycle rider is in the hospital after a crash involving two motorcycles on Highway 74 near Vista Point.
The California Highway Patrol said it happened just before 3 p.m. Sunday near mile marker 88, just outside of Palm Desert.
The rider was airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center. The extent of the person’s injuries is unknown.
The CHP said Highway 74 was open at 5 p.m.
