Two men arrested in San Jacinto after assaulting first responders

Two men are in jail after assaulting a CAL-FIRE captain and ambulance personnel called to their home to help their family member.

According to San Jacinto Police, 56-year-old Bobby Henry Jr. physically attacked the CAL-FIRE captain, while his brother, 44-year-old Tyrone Henry, came out of their home threatening to kill the captain and ambulance personnel.

Deputies said Bobby Henry Jr. then started throwing bricks, forcing firefighters and ambulance personnel to leave the patient.

First responders said the bricks caused damage to an ambulance and left the captain with minor injuries.

Deputies arrested Bobby Henry Jr. for assault with a deadly weapon and battery on a firefighter, while Tyrone Henry was arrested for criminal threats.

Both men were also charged with obstructing emergency medical personnel in the performance.
