A big honor for local non-profit Desert Arc.

The organization which serves developmentally disabled clients in and around the Coachella Valley was selected by state Sentator Jeff Stone as the 28th district’s non-profit of the year.

“We are honored that Senator Jeff Stone honored Desert Arc as nonprofit of the year. Desert Arc serves 650 clients with developmental disabilities creating opportunities to enhance their quality of life,” said Desert Arc CEO and President Richard Balocco.

Balocco will travel to Sacramento on June 22 to accept the honor for the inaugural California Non-profits Day.
