Serial burglar arrested in DHS

A 22 year old convicted felon, who was already on parole, is being held without bail for his alleged role in a number of break-ins to homes in Desert Hot Springs.

Aaron Schoolfield, 22, of Desert Hot Springs was arrested by detectives on Wednesday on Pierson Boulevard. He’s being held without bail on charges including first degree burglary, violating his parole, and conspiracy to commit a felony.

According to Desert Hot Springs Police, Schoolfield was “identified as a result of an ongoing investigation into a series of residential burglaries in Desert Hot Springs.”
