Police investigating deadly shooting in DHS

Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened early Saturday morning in Desert Hot Springs.

Officers responded at 3 a.m. to a report of gunshots at the 13500 block of Cielo Azul Way.

When officers arrived, they said they didn’t find a victim.

Officers said they found out a man in his 20s was dropped off at Desert Regional Medical Center suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
