Man accused of breaking into vehicle at casino arrested

A man accused of breaking into a vehicle at a Rancho Mirage casino has been arrested.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff Department, Tuesday night, deputies were called, to the parking structure at the Auga Caliente Casino on Bob Hope Drive, to investigate a vehicle theft.

The Palm Desert Burglary Suppression Unit assumed the investigation and identified the suspect as Mark Sexton , 33 years old of Lancaster. Sexton was arrested on Thursday morning at his place of employment in Brawley.

Sexton was transported and later booked into the county jail in the city of Indio for vehicle theft and vehicle burglary. Anyone with information about this investigation is encouraged to call Deputy Jones at the Palm Desert Station by calling 760-836-1623.
