National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce celebrates in Palm Desert

The National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its thirteenth Business and Leadership Conference in Palm Desert.

The event takes place August 23-26 at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa, located at 74-855 Country Club Drive. Visit NGLCC.org for more information.

As one of the world’s largest LGBT business conferences, the NGLCC hopes to boost local Palm Springs businesses while they host over 1,000 attendees. As a body of LGBT-owned businesses, the conference is an opportunity for local business owners to network with leading corporations.

Senior Vice President of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce Jonathan Lovitz, said, “It’s really powerful to see that the American dream is being opened up to every American because of the NGLCC Conference and the people that join us in this mission.”

Lovitz said their mission is to empower small companies by creating a space for people to learn from over 160 corporate partners and government agencies.

People are encouraged to participate in the three-day conference which has developed an international resource for the LGBT community.
