Local HS football teams battle in Round 1 of playoffs

Playoff-qualifying high school football teams in the Coachella Valley are getting set to battle for post-season glory.

Local playoffs kicked off Thursday night with Rancho Mirage High School hosting Los Amigos High School. The Best Local Sports Show is covering all of our local games live and we’ll bring you all of the action from the opening weekend of the playoffs on Friday night at 11 p.m. on KESQ News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2.
