Motorcyclist injured in Palm Desert crash
Authorities were called to a motorcycle crash in Palm Desert Tuesday afternoon. The accident happened at about 3:20 p.m. at Fred Waring Drive and Monterrey Avenue.
According to Cal Fire officials, the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital in stable condition after suffering an injury to the lower body.
Northbound Monterey Avenue was shut down at Fred Waring Drive for the sheriff’s department to investigate the crash and clear the wreckage. Information about the the crash is limited at this time, but viewers contacted our newsroom to report heavy traffic in the area due to the crash.
