7th Annual Chili Cook-Off

The 7th Annual Chili Cook-Off fundraiser for Food Now took place in Palm Desert Saturday afternoon.

The event was hosted by Geno and Lindi Biggi of Beaverton Food at their BG Bird Gardens estate.

About twenty chef’s participated in preparing the best Chili recipes.

There was also a silent auction, live music by the Range Riders, face painting and even a visit from Santa.

Food Now needs funds to purchase over 700,000 pounds of healthy food, equivalent to 540,000 meals a year, for in-need families including children, seniors, and the homeless.

All proceeds from the Chili Cook-off remain here, in the Coachella Valley.
