Best Foreign Language Film entries listed in Awards Buzz section
Organizers of the 28th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival said they will be screening 43 of the 85 official submissions to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for Best Foreign Language Film at the 2017 festival.

According to the film festival’s release, the Awards Buzz section is selected by festival programmers as the strongest entries in the Academy Awards race. A special jury of international film critics will review the following films to present the FIPRESCI (International Federation of Film Critics) Award for Best Foreign Language Film of the Year, as well as Best Actor and Best Actress in the category.
