No foul play suspected after man’s body found in Palm Desert

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a man’s death after his body was found in Palm Desert early Monday morning. Deputies said they don’t suspect foul play, but they are actively working to determine his cause of death.

The sheriff’s department was called at 5:30 a.m. when someone reported a man down in the 73900 block of El Paseo in Palm Desert. Authorities attempted life-saving measures. Cal Fire arrived and pronounced the man deceased, according to Deputy Armando Munoz.

There were no signs of foul play but the investigation into the man’s death continues. Authorities will release the man’s identity after his family is notified.
