Hiker rescued after falling on trail near Rancho Mirage
First responders rescued a hiker who fell on a canyon trail near Rancho Mirage Saturday morning.
CAL-FIRE Riverside County crews were called to the Magnesia Falls trailhead and began to hike in, when a California Highway Patrol (CHP) helicopter crew found the hiker.
Crews said the woman fell about 20 feet.
Another CHP aerial crew helped take her to nearby paramedics.
Fire crews said she was taken to a nearby hospital after suffering moderate injuries.
