Police investigate Desert Hot Springs shooting

Desert Hot Springs Police were investigating a Desert Hot Springs shooting early Monday morning, but released little suspect information.

Police Commander Jim Henson confirmed a shooting along the 65000 block of Cahuilla Street at 2:07 a.m.

Henson said nobody was hit, but a home was struck near Cholla Drive, south of Pierson Boulevard.

Police officers were still searching for a suspect early Monday morning, and encouraged anyone with information to contact the Desert Hot Springs Police Department.
