Car catches fire in the middle of a busy valley roadway
A car caught fire Wednesday morning on Landau Boulevard in Catheral City.
A witness told us the he saw smoke billowing from the car, as the elderly male driver traveled south on Landau.
The driver stopped at Baristo, and managed to get out of the car, before it became engulfed in flames.
It happened at 10:15.
Cathedral City fire crews responded to the scene, and had the fire out in about one minute.
No one was injured.
No word yet what caused the fire.
Traffic was temporarily backed up in both directions on Landau Boulevard.
