Big rig overturned on I-10

A big rig overturned on the I-10 in Indio, causing the temporary closure of one lane.

The accident happened on the Eastbound I-10 near Dillon Road in Indio. The big rig was spilling diesel into dirt on the side of the highway.

All roads are once again open.

Crews got the big rig back up, and hazmat cleaned up the diesel.

No word on what caused the big rig to turn over.
