Update on winter storm headed our way on KESQ News Channel 3 this AM

A storm system is expected to hit the Coachella Valley this Friday, our First Alert Weather team is keeping you up to date with the latest as the system moves closer.

(Tuesday 2/14) Warm and dry conditions will remain through Thursday. The next storm system to bring rain to Southern California doesn’t look to arrive until Friday.

Between Friday and Saturday, current rainfall estimates are up to 1″ for the desert and several inches likely along the coast. In addition to precipitation, winds will strengthen on Friday with damaging gusts possible in the mountains.
