IHOP Celebrates National Pancake Day

Today is National Pancake Day! In honor of the day IHOP says they will be giving away free short stacks of flapjacks starting at 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., with some locations extending the promotion until 10 p.m. tonight.

Customers are encouraged to leave a donation for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Shriners Hospitals for Children.

IHOP started offering free pancakes in 2006, since then they have raised $24 million for youth health and wellness organizations. Their goal this year is $3.5 million.

In the Coachella Valley, IHOP has restaurants in Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, La Quinta, Cathedral City and Indio.
