Three people suffer moderate injures after being extricated

Three people were rushed to the hospital after being extricated from their vehicle Saturday morning in Morongo Valley.

Firefighters with the Morongo Valley Fire Department responded to a single car accident just before 9:30 a.m. near Highway 62 and Bella Vista Drive. Officials say three people needed to be extricated after suffering moderate injuries when their vehicle crashed into a power pole.

All three victims were taken to a local area hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time. Morongo Valley Fire said CAL FIRE Riverside County and the California Highway Patrol Inland Division assisted them in the crash.
