Retreat for Coachella artists in Indio

KESQ and CBS Local 2 got an inside look at an exclusive Coachella getaway Saturday for featured performers and their guests.

It’s the first-ever refreshouse Artist Oasis hosted by BuzzBox.

The artist retreat has many amenities, including a mobile recording studio with Jam in the Van, a stage to perform, food and drinks, a salon for hair and makeup by Phenix Salon Suites, and even a dog park and pet sitting resources from Animal Samaritans.

“We created an environment where they can come and just play, they can jam together, they can just enjoy each other’s company away from the stages and all of the people at the festival,” BuzzBox Chief Brand Officer Brad Kinney said.

“It’s such a cool atmosphere,” performing artist Rilan said. “I’ve never been a part of something like this before. So, it’s cool to actually party with the guys during the day and have a show at night. So, yeah I think it’s going to be a great time.”

Organizers said the retreat will run Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
