Elderly woman found dead in spa
Fire crews responded to reports of an elderly woman who apparently drowned in a spa at a Palm Desert home Saturday morning.
It happened at 9 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Tomahawk Drive.
Firefighters said the woman was found unconscious and not breathing in a spa, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman’s identity hasn’t been released.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is conducting the investigation.
