Make-A-Wish grants teen’s wish to go to Stagecoach
There will be one extra special guest at the Stagecoach Country Music Festival this weekend thanks to our local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Clarice Aguilar was diagnosed with a germ cell tumor in March of last year. The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes for children with life threatening medical conditions, and Clarice wished to two-step on down to the Empire Polo Grounds this weekend.

She and her family visited Macy’s at the Westfield Mall in Palm Desert yesterday to get her styled for the weekend. Macy’s put on a quick fashion show to feature some of the popular looks available for those looking to head to Stagecoach.
“We’re really excited to give her this life-changing experience to go to Stagecoach with her family. She can rock out to the country music, see all her favorite bands, and spend some quality time together with her family after a rough couple of weeks,” said Kara Bautch, Senior Marketing and Communications Manager with the Orange County and the Inland Empire chapter of Make-A-Wish.
“[It’s] something I get to do outside the norm and enjoy it,” said wish kid, Clarice.
Clarice says she is most looking forward to seeing Brett Eldredge perform this weekend.
Macy’s has donated over $100 million to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and this was the second event held at our local Macy’s benefiting the organization.
