Emergency crews rescue hiker who collapsed on Bump & Grind Trail
Emergency crews rescued a a 75-year-old man who collapsed while hiking on the Bump and Grind Trail in Palm Desert Tuesday morning.
A witness who called 911 for him said the man was feeling lightheaded and nauseous but he was conscious and alert. The man wasn’t injured.

Crews headed up the trail at about 9:15 a.m. and made it to the hiker shortly after 9:30 a.m. Our crew at the scene said the hiker was carried down the mountain and was taken to the hospital for observation. Cal Fire reported the man was brought down from the trail at 10:07 a.m.
