Palm Springs Public Library to host second annual Comic Con

The Palm Springs Public Library will host its second annual Comic Con event today, welcoming the community’s best-dressed heroes of all ages to compete for prizes and enjoy a celebration of the genre.

From 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the library, in conjunction with Palm Springs Comic Con and Interstellar Comic Books & Collectibles, will host the event in the library’s main room.

Costumed attendees can compete for prizes, with five winners selected across five categories: preschool, elementary school, middle school, high school, and adult. Contestants must register for the contest upon entering the library.

In addition, the library comic con will include an “Artist Alley,” featuring local artists, carnival games, door prizes and more.

The event is free and open to all ages.
