Coroner still trying to identify man 7 years after his death
The Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau is looking for some help from the public to identify a man who died in a nursing home seven years ago. He was initially dropped off in an unresponsive state at Martin Luther King Hospital in Los Angeles County in 2006 by an unknown man.
As strange as it may seem that this man still hasn’t been identified after all these years, KESQ and CBS Local 2 learned there are dozens of people who haven’t been identified in Riverside County, reaching all the way back to the 1960s.

The man was then transferred to a nursing home called Huntington Healthcare Center in Los Angeles, and in October 2006 he was transferred to Miravilla Care Center in Beaumont. Authorities said the man died four years later in 2010.
Leading up to the man’s death he never regained consciousness and authorities were never able to identify him, according to the sheriff’s department.
