Coroner’s identify man killed in crash in Cabazon
The Riverside County Coroner’s Office today released the name of a man fatally injured during a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle on a street in Cabazon.
He was Mario Ortiz, 31, of Beaumont.
The collision happened at 6:25 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Bonita Avenue and Magnolia Street, according to the California Highway Patrol and CalFire Riverside.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by CalFire paramedics, spokeswoman April Newman said.
The CHP was investigating the crash, according to the coroner’s office.
