Deputies investigate after shots fired at home near Desert Hot Springs

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after shots were fired at a home in the unincorporated area of Desert Hot Springs Tuesday morning.

The shots were fired at about 10 a.m. in the 66700 block of Camino Idilio, just east of Palm Drive and north of Dillon Road. KESQ and CBS Local 2’s crew at the scene saw shell casing spread throughout the road. Authorities are on scene investigating.

Deputies said nobody was injured in the shooting and no suspects were found in the area after the shots were fired. Deputies continue to investigate the shooting. We’ll deliver updates as the investigation moves forward.
