Aztecs win semifinal, advance to CIF-SS Division 2 championship game

The DVL champion Aztecs are on to the CIF-SS Division 2 championship for the fifth time in program history. Palm Desert defeated Capistrano Valley 4-3 on Tuesday in the semifinal, highlighted by a 3-run home run from senior star Jeremiah Estrada in the 6th inning.

The Aztecs will now play for the CIF-SS championship on Friday at 4:00 pm at Dodger Stadium as they try to win their third overall title.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $7 for students and children. You can purchase them in person at Dodger Stadium. All fans will enter through left field pavilion and must use Gate A for parking, which is FREE.

Palm Desert high school will be taking two buses with approximately 100 students on board to be in attendance at the game. Sports Director Blake Arthur will also be at the game Friday to provide LIVE coverage with highlights and post game reaction.
