SunLine Transit Agency offers 40-cent rides for 40th anniversary
SunLine Transit Agency is marking it’s 40th anniversary Wednesday through a customer appreciation celebration.
The agency is commemorating the event by offering 40 cent rides all day for riders with exact change.

An event will also occur at the Westfield Mall in Palm Desert at the bus stop adjacent to the mall. It’s located at the southeast intersection of Town Center and Hahn and will go from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

There will be giveaways and the public will have the opportunity to win one of 40 31-day passes and one grand prize winner of the “Golden Ticket” – a one-year unlimited pass for a fixed route.
Speakers will include Supervisor V. Manuel Perez and CEO/General Manager of SunLine Transit Agency, Lauren Skiver.
