Wildfire at San Bernardino National Forest 20% contained

Firefighters have been battling a wildfire Friday afternoon in the San Bernardino National Forest. Officials are calling the blaze the Bridge Fire. It quickly grew from 20 acres to 450 acres Friday afternoon.

The Bridge Fire is 20% contained, forward progress has been stopped.

According to fire officials, 550 firefighters are working to contain the fire burning on the west side of State Highway 38, 1/2 mile south of Iron Bridge (north to Iron Bridge).
