Karen Devine

For more than 34 years, Karen Devine has been one of the most trusted and recognizable voices in the Coachella Valley.

Karen is the Evening Anchor and Investigative Reporter for KESQ News Channel 3, where she has served Desert communities since 1992. Known for her in-depth reporting and commitment to accountability, Karen has produced investigations that have brought attention to issues including foster care reform following the Turpin case, the fentanyl crisis, elder fraud, consumer scams and public safety. Her work has helped raise awareness and drive conversations on issues affecting local families and communities.

Karen's reporting has earned multiple Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Awards and Golden Mike Awards. In 2026, she was honored with a star on the Palm Springs Walk of the Stars in recognition of her lasting impact on the Coachella Valley and her decades of service to local broadcasting. She is also a recipient of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Silver Circle Award, recognizing distinguished contributions to the television industry.

Beyond the newsroom, Karen is a passionate supporter of numerous nonprofit organizations and serves as emcee for dozens of charitable and community events each year. For more than three decades, she has remained committed to one mission: telling meaningful stories, holding the powerful accountable and giving a voice to those who need one most.
